Dear Brothers & Sisters;
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Fraternal Order of Police Keystone Lodge #41 Web site. As I begin my second term as President I want to thank everyone for their support and encouragement during my first term. There was a lot to learn transitioning from secretary to president and a lot of issues to deal with and with the help of everyone the first term went well.
This site will continue to provide our members and associate members with information such as news, upcoming events, and members- sick or in distress, meeting dates & locations, links to other sites and numerous other related items. Chris Manetta will start his second term as treasurer and Rodney Fink will begin his second term as secretary. We as a board are going to make a greater effort to get more information out to the members via the website and the station reps. The site will also give non-members the opportunity to learn more about the F.O.P.
Lodge #41 consists of over 650 Active and Retired State Troopers throughout Central Pennsylvania and other areas around the country. The State Police Facilities covered by lodge #41 include the following: Troop H; Harrisburg, Carlisle, Chambersburg, Newport, Gettysburg, Lykens, York, Troop T- Newville & Highspire, Department Headquarters in Harrisburg, The Academy and Bureau of Emergency & Special Operations in Hershey, The Bureau of Liquor Enforcement and Executive Services in Harrisburg.
This site will be updated with a list of all the charities that are supported by the lodge in the Central Pennsylvania Area and around the state. The site will have links or web addresses to the trust funds that have been established for our fallen brothers and sisters.
Members and visitors will still have the ability to contact lodge officers via e-mail addresses. Other contact information such as lodge phone numbers and mailing addresses will be provided upon request.
In the year 2012 we will start posting the minutes from monthly meetings and other information such as dues notices, golf tournament information etc. Continued use of the web site will give the lodge the ability to reduce annual costs of postage, reproduction and other items so that we can continue to support local charities and have a positive financial impact in Central Pennsylvania.
Photos, letters, endorsements and other items will be posted on the site for public and private viewing.
Brother Robert Clark is still the lodge historian/photographer. If you have information or photos that need to be placed on the web site please contact a lodge officer or Brother Clark.
If you have any comments about this site or need to get into touch with a lodge officer or member please send us an e-mail and someone will get in touch with you.
Thanks for visiting our site and supporting the Fraternal Order of Police.
